Especially for You

Happy Tuesday!
Easter is almost here and I wanted to share my little Peep with you today.
This little guy was part of the new release. I just simply covered him in
Lemon Butter 3D enamel gel and let him dry.
The Tulip Lattice stencil has been a popular little number as well and I just
shaded that in bright green ink.
Topped off with a few more enamel dots created with Deep Red and Avocado and a bow.
A fairly simple, but bright/fun design.
I hope you enjoyed him.
Be sure to peek in on the latest challenge.

Until next time...Happy Easter to you.

Bunnies....

Here's a fun trick. I've used some of the Spring Release Piccolo products to add a personal touch to a purchased card.

I simply glittered two of the bunny shapes and added eyes with seed beads.

Then took two sizes of flower cut from the borders set. I used pastel chalks to color the flowers and coated them with more Glastique to seal them.

Glue it all down and add a flat rhinestone to the center of the flowers.

Done. Quick. Simple. Fun.

Have a great week.

Easter Quarter Fold Card

Good morning!!  Happy Saturday too!
Today, I am up to share my creation with you for this weeks challenge over at SweetStamps.
This week it's: Technique Spotlight: Quarter Fold Card
I have personally never seen or even heard of this type of card before, but it seemed interesting and even fun to try.  You can find a tutorial HERE

This is what my card looks like completed and folded!!
The fun comes to life when you open it.  :)
The tutorial suggested 4 squares, but I opted for cutting the patterned paper the length and width of the card, since I knew I was going to be doing a lot of layering.
This is what the card looks like once it is all opened up.
The sentiment is from the Cute As A Bunny stamp set.
This is what the outer layers of the card looks like.  This was the only way I could capture how cute this card really is!!
Finally here is that cute mocha bunny all colored up and sitting on that fence surrounded by those flowers!!  I really love this set...can you tell!!!  :)  Well I hope you will give this technique a try if you haven't already joined us this week.  The possibilities are endless.

Here are the product I used on my card:

Mixed Media.. Spread Your Wings...

Hi!  Lisa here today and I'm so excited to share this new Mixed Media project I created this week!  I have been crazy busy, and sick lately so I was so happy to squeeze in some time to get messy and just have fun.  Take a look at what I've created with the new Piccolo Accents...

Supplies Used:

I started by wetting my watercolored cardstock and then dropping in various colors from my peerless water color set.  Once this dried I used my ATC mini stencil and white embossing paste on various parts of the background.  Next I embossed the different accents in various enamel powders.  These enamel powders are so beautiful in person, they have a gorgeous shine and shimmer!  I then used the Glastique to adhere the accents to the dry background.  To finish it off I used a sentiment from the Doodle Butterflies Stamp Set.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see your creations in our newest challenge: The Quarter Fold Card!

Happy Crafting!

All Things Easter

I wanted to try the Quarter Fold Challenge this week, as I have never tried this before- it was so quick and easy to put together!
There is a tutorial on Splitcoast for this card design HERE

My card shows so many things Easter- The Cross, Peeps, an Easter Basket and decorated Easter eggs. SOmething for everyone......  and inside:
A cute bunny too anxious for treats to wait!'

Supplies I used from the store:

I had a blast embossing the Piccolo Accents- the Enamel Embossing Powders are all shimmery and are great to work with! I tool one of the large solid eggs and trimmed out a little bit of the top and made the Easter Basket. Can you see how intricate the cuts are on the piccolos?  I used the Enamel Gel on the yellow bunny, then sprinkled on some Ultrafine glitter.

Have a great day, and hope to see you join in the challenge!
